About Our Business
Colored Egg Farms was started in January of 2007 with just selling chickens. It
started with 3 white leghorns. The name came a few months later when we received
EEs (Ameraucana). They laid green, brown, and blue eggs. The tinted eggs or
colored eggs sounded like a interesting name for a farm so it stuck. The farm grew
and started selling Cage Free Eggs. In March 2008, 500 brown baby chicks were
started. These will all be put into a barn and sold as Brown Cage Free eggs.
We sell both brown/white/tinted eggs and baby chicks.
Eggs are either Brown Cage Free or Tinted/White/Brown Free Range.
Baby chicks consist of many different breeds.
*Chicks are for pick-up only.
*Some breeds may not be available at all times.
